Smart Food Choices is about personalised food and nutrition consulting.

Its principal, Julie Claessens, a clinical nutritionist, demonstrates how to attain and maintain a healthy lifestyle without dieting.

Through one-on-one programs, shopping trips, menu planning, email and telephone consultations, Julie keeps tabs on your progress to ensure you maintain your commitment to ‘smart food choices’.

Concerned by the lack of general nutritional advice available to people and the poor level of knowledge about healthy eating, Julie gained qualifications in nutrition and is a practicing and certified Nutritionist with over 20 years experience in food.

As well as nutritional advice, Julie and her husband run Smart Food Catering offering demonstrations in Smart Food Cooking and Smart Food Choices in the kitchen.
